In La Crosse we are very lucky to live in one of the largest flyways for migrating ducks and geese, The Mississippi Fly Way.
The La Crosse area is home to Mallards, Teal, Scoup, Pintail, Gadwall, Canvisback, Wood duck, and some big Canadian Geese.
With my extensive knowledge of back water sloughs,  pot holes, decoy spreads and calling you better bring plenty of ammo because your going to need it.  

The spring-time in Gods Country a hunters fancy turns to BIG Toms. And if your like me there is nothing finer than hearing a majestic long beard gobbling  or watching him strut his stuff only a few yards away to get the heart going.
In the La Crosse area we have bluffs, coulees, river bottoms and plenty of farm land. You put this all together and you get monster Tom turkeys. I currently have access to several hundred acres of private property which hold alot of these Big Toms. My current best is 25 pounds, double bearded(12 inch and 10 inch beard).
